..oneliner. Hmmm. I see Knoppix' ppmtompeg assumes you set up
a "parameter" file. Oh well, you can still have another box running
netcat and ppmtompeg, (and your primary box running FlightGear):

..install and run fgfs with " --jpg-httpd=port ", to enable the screen
shot http server on the specified port, say, on port 12345.

..on the movie maker box: " nc -l FGbox 12345 |ppmtompeg -realquiet \
/home/knoppix/fg-movie-parameter-file", details in "man nc" and "man
ppmtompeg" on any box run up with a Knoppix disk or running linux.

..similar schemes movie making schemes:

.._many_ ways to skin this cat, even if my little oneliner-on-knoppix
scheme died, it needs a parameter file on the movie maker box. ;o)

..eh, just found the parameter file saves my oneliner scheme with a
" REMOTE <machine> <user> <executable> <parameter file> " line. ;o)

Scenarios always come in sets of three:
best case, worst case, and just in case.
