Yes, other countries do have them -- either through official websites,
or indirectly through free sites that gather together the information
a bit more cleanly (see e.g. http://www.airnav.com/ for a wealth of
available information about U.S. airports). I think the philosophy
for links on the FG webpage has been "stuff that relates directly to
FlightGear itself"; but I see no reason why there can't be a page of
useful links etc. on the FlightGear wiki. Why not go that route?

Will look at that site when I have a chance. I have recently been exploring
the KSFO area with regards scenery and AI traffic (only in 0.9.8a until with
Georg's assistance I can get 099 running) but don't have any navigation info
(VOR NDB, runway orientation etc).
What's this FG Wiki? have seen it referred to a few times, I take it its an
alternative/parallel site?
