Thanks Curt. I search the nVidia support forum from time
to time and I have I have not seen anything that sounds the
same in the two years I have been doing it. I like my smp
box, and I am still not convinced that, day to day, I would
improve on the performance of my 2 1ghz PIIIs by upgrading.
Whenever *any* problem arises, however, I find myself
asking whether the additional complexity of smp might the
cause. Mind you, I suppose that with hyperthreading PIVs
those problems are more frequently encountered and fixed as
software is tested.
