Are you giving the plane full throttle ?
It starts at ~50%
< page-up - page-down >

FYI - I have found that the plane is quite hard to fly
when getting less then 15 fps.

I think that this is fixed in the CVS files
FYI I keep my 'current' Win32 executable at
http://www.vso.cape.com/~nhv/files/fgfs/fgfs.exe.gz

But be advised that this will need the latest base files
the 0.7.8 files will not work
