On this machine I have a user account benbowc/ so where is the right location for downloaded sources for building? I may come back to you regarding the scripts. What is the change needed for plib? Has it been added to CVS for plib? Maybe someone has a list of dependencies and versions that work with SUSE. That would be helpful.
