Hi Gunny

Im in.....I am more than happy to do the commuter runs in the B1900 D (its my favorite twin prop....then the ATR 72 500....we need one of these desperately!!!!).

What about cargo runs.....DHL (and Courier Post here in NZ), run everything from 1099D to 767's....custom liveries cant be too hard to make....can they??

What would we call ourselves? Flightgearian Airlines?? :)

Question, how do we keep track of online flight time??
We might also need a decent FMC for this as I dont think many will fly the long hauls while constantly at the stick...but I spose there is the GPS thing....but thats hardly used here in NZ, NAV points being the main ones used in logging flight plans, if you dont put in the right intersections then the plan is rejected.

Has anyone considered a FG Virtual Airline? Like America Flight Airways, (http://www.flyafa.com/)? I'm keen to join one, but none of them support FlightGear, so I was wondering if their was any interest in the FG community in starting one?

If we where going to, we'd need:

- A name and logo, obviously
- Some custom skinned airline models with decent cockpits(I was thinking Beechcraft 1900 and one of the Citations for regional flights, and then 737, 767/320, 777/340, 747, and hey, why not the Concorde?)
- Some sort of website, with flight roster details and flight logging mechanism etc. I could probably make this, as XHTML/PHP/MYSQL is one of my stronger skills.
- Some willing volunteers to run it.
- Some keen pilots to fly!

Anyone keen?
