[This is on Linux, using GNU tar] I've downloaded some 1.0.1 scenery files a couple of weeks ago and just got around to looking at them.
Most of the scenery files untar ok, but w120n30.tgz fails with a CRC error. I've downloaded it again from: http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/flightgear/ftp/Scenery-1.0.1/w120n30.tgz but I am still getting the following error: $ tar -zvtf w120n30.tgz [very big snip. :-)] -rw-r--r-- martin/users 491 2008-10-06 20:21:26 Airports/U/T/5/UT54.threshold.xml -rw-r--r-- martin/users 491 2008-10-06 20:21:27 Airports/U/T/5/UT57.threshold.xml -rw-r--r-- martin/users 491 2008-10-06 20:21:36 Airports/U/T/6/UT65.threshold.xml -rw-r--r-- martin/users 491 2008-10-06 20:21:38 Airports/U/T/7/UT70.threshold.xml gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--crc error tar: Child returned status 1 tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors Can anyone else confirm this ?
