I have reinstalled NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-195.36.24-pkg2 on a number of occasions after upgrading. For a new kernel only I rebuild the kernel module only. I shall build a new FlightGear later to see if the problem goes away. My latest version is from CVS on Feb. 18th. 2010, so pre-2.0. Regards Sid.
