Q. Will the release of 1.3.0 fix the API/ABI for the 1.3.x series? If not, I suggest that 1.3.0 is released a.s.a.p. with a warning that the printing interface is experimental and subject to change. That way, users can provide feedback on manolo's current direct implementation, which can be taken into account for the proposed device abstraction layer for the printing. Otherwise 1.3.0 is going to turn into another fltk-2 with lots of cool ideas and features that people want but never released. Sorry to keep banging on about this, especially as I'm almost a non-developer, but this has long term strategic implications.
