Just out of curiosity: I have a 50% version of FLTK using the VNC protocol to render the GUI. No X server required, just a VNC client on the receiving end. It does not have a window manager though, but for minimal apps, it works nicely. I was wondering if that would be an interesting thing for FLTK in general, and - since this is close to what you do - something that would make life easier for you (your opinion)?
