Oh, OK.
That's weird though, because that's the version that I *thought*  
called up fltk2.

I find it very reliable - though if you are just getting up and  
running, and are working through specific examples in a book, it  
would probably be just another distraction...

Sure - though if the compiler is properly standard compliant, it  
really ought not to matter which one you choose, at the end of the  
day. And that is almost true now (though it was not a few years back  
- things really have converged.)

Choice of text editor is very much a personal thing and does not  
matter at all. As a consequence, it is a frequent cause of holy wars  
all over internet.
