For anyone who is interested I believe I managed to resolve issue 306 and add support for natural-id. I think I managed to follow the instructions properly and forked the repository on github and pushed my changes back. My forked repository can be found here: http://github.com/barriault/fluent-nhibernate.
The only thing I didn't do was write unit tests for my NaturalIdPart class. I think I managed to get everything else covered, but I just couldn't seem to wrap my head around what is going on in those tests and what it is I need to test.
