Hi all,
Well it's no secret I've been working (very slowly) on the mobile first
incarnation of Fluid Studios. It has been an incredible learning experience.
But the last little (not that a month is little) has been spent fixing errors
with IE. So much fun. Honestly, it has been fun. Truth be told I think my
effort has been successful. It, the full design, has translated rather nicely
to IE7 and 8, given each browser's lack of support for media queries. Blah,
blah, blah. I digress. Especially considering I've rocked the list concerning
this very issue.
But I was chatting up Justin today about the issues surrounding keyboard
accessibility and showing which landmark is focused. Or "activated," in the
context of IE7. But Justin urged me to email the list and pose a query. The
question is how important is figuring out a solution for focus styling the UIO
button in IE7? That said, I think it just might be important enough to actually
write some Javascript. Only because it's for UIO and accessibility of all sorts
is the key, right? What do you think?
Johnny
