This page probably isn't fully up to date, but does describe many of the key issues. We should, sometime in the next couple weeks, schedule some time to talk through the larger list of deprecations and removals. Infusion 2.0 gives us a lot of flexibility to remove, change, rename and so on. This doesn't have to be done all at once, but I think we've all got a list of our own favourite ideas for changes.
As for who makes the final call, we'll follow our usual process of open decision making--a wiki page, a proposal to the list, and discussion if needed.
