It is always nice to have stuff from Canal street...nice historical connection to Fluxus, Maciunas, etc. I always imagine some sort of connection to early early Fluxus whenever I get a chance to haunt the shops and street there.

I work very close to Canal street, the land of 1,000 industrial plastics
suppliers (oh, alright, three).  These shops carry a dizzying array of
smallish, inexpensive boxes in a variety of sizes and colors.  Almost all the
colors are transparent (save the black and white).I don't believe any are more
than $5.00 and most are considerably less.  The problem is that they tend to
be a little on the brittle side and may not do too well on
transatlantic/pacific voyages.

If interested, I could certainly get a variety of samples to send to whoever
ends up spearheading this project.
