Robert,
Each output feature in AutoCAD is a layer, so you can simply add more destination features to create more layers. If you have an attribute in the incoming Shape file you wish to use as a layer name, you can use a single output feature and fanout by the Shape attribute. To do this, click on the ... box on the destination feature to bring up the Feature Type Properties. Under Fanout Settings, check the Fanout feature type box and pick the attribute in the Fanout attribute listbox. The AutoCAD writer will automatically create the layers required. I have no way to create a template DWG and I've seen reference to "DWG_AUTO_CREATE_LAYERS yes". And I can't seem to figure out how to use it in the Workbench. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't see any option under properties of the DWG writer and I've tried entering it into the Header File with no success.
