Hi James,
I certainly don't have a definitive answer on this, but you might
want to check the licensing information in the FMPA User Guide to see
if you can legally modify the Donations application by creating a
runtime solution.
Your friend could put the Donations solution files on a flash drive
and run the files from FMP on his laptop.
Perhaps that would work for you and him.
