Title: jpg's transferred to FileMaker

Well there is a difference between PC and MAC with images and FileMaker. PCs are picky with images.  All images must be tiff format and the formatting must be IBM compatible. I create databases on a MAC. The images I enhance, crop, etc., are done in Photoshop and they are saved as an IBM tiff image. I use container fields to insert the images. Users have no problems.

Subject: jpg's transferred to FileMaker

Is there a way to keep the .jpg format to pictures brought into a FileMaker document?
I’ve tried “inserting” v. dragging, but it doesn’t seem to give me that option. I therefore drag them in as a jpg but when I pull them off the FM document, their a picture clipping.
I’m using FM 5.5

Thanks in advance.
Jackie
