Losing Continue/Cancel buttons

In my script I have an "Enter Preview Mode [Pause]" script statement. This puts 
up Continue / Cancel options in the left panel. If I go into the Browse view 
and come back to the Preview screen, the two options no longer appear and I 
cannot get back to my script.
