Megan,

In the layout, to to View, then select Object size. Click on the fields
(one that is too small with one that is like the others); change the
measurements of the layout to pixels (there is a small square at the
upper left hand corner that when you click it, changes to three
measurements). You want to look at the numbers in the boxes of the
object size to see if those numbers are the same with each field. If
they are not and the difference is like 1-3 pixels difference, as an
example; hold down the ALT key and minutely resize the field of concern.

Subject: Re: adjusting width of drop-down lists

Thanks for your suggestions. The drop down is in a portal. I
don't know if that makes any difference. The drop down is
already wider than the field itself, but not wide enough. The
odd thing is that the other drop downs are wider, but I'm not
sure why. A check list might be a good idea.

Thanks,
Megan
