This is one of those irritating bugaboos that FM still hasn't figured out or believes isn't important: all the various event-driven triggers that should be there like 'onFocusLost', 'onFocusGained', 'onDataChange', etc. This was one of my main reasons for moving everything that is not a single-user desktop solution to Servoy with an SQL backend. The only workaround is to use a plugin of which there are several I believe. One that comes to mind is the Troi Activator Plugin.
