I am in the process of changing my office databases from FMP 4 to an
FMP8 based database. I understand that as long as my office has a
fixed IP address that any of my staff with a copy of FMP 8 should be
able to log into the office server and open the database in the same
way they would within the office. I gather this involves some
knowledge of actual internet configuration as opposed to FMP server
configuration ( since I'm not looking to publish it to a web page -
we are using FMP Server standard ). Is there a resource on the net
that has a basic description of how to go about this?
- accessing FMP8 database via the internet? E. Riley Casey
