from my files...
I wil add my voice to this. I am on a MacBook Pro using Leopard. No
external display. It seems inconsistent. I will be working in 2
files with no problem. Then I will find I am in the wrong file. I
thought it was me the first 2 times. It has occurred on a local file
and working remotely on 1 file.. I have spaces on.

This has been replicated and entered into our bug database as of today.
However, I'd still encourage you all to add your two cents about this
in case there are different variations of this issue...

It sounds like some are seeing slightly different things although they
all sound related.

This has been noted in a number of other lists. Happens to me all

Since I have installed Leopard I end up in a different window then
the front one after 1. Sorting, 2. Entering Layout mode 3.
Modifying a script.
After I do anyone of the above I am no longer in the window I
started from although the window I started from is still the
frontmost window It is very confusing.
I have tried removing my plugins and deleting my FileMaker
preferences to no avail.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any Idea for a solution?
Mac OS X.5.1 FileMaker Pro 9.0.3 and FileMaker Pro Advance 9.0.3
Thanks,
John
