I can understand that. But fwiw (and I have no affiliation with either) both John Kornhaus's zippScript and myFMBbutler's DoScript are free plugins and I've found them to be very useful for event-based firing of scripts or calling scripts by name. Both of which should be native FM functions, IMO.
