Charlie,

Have you tried exporting the data from FMP6? You'd have to rebuild the data structure in 8.5, but that's better than no data at all. Try exporting to XML, then importing into a clean 8.5-9 file.

This is a multipart message in MIME format.

I have two FM 6 files to be converted to FM 8.5. One file converts ok, the second goes through the conversion process, opens but then immediately shuts down. The original database was created by a different
developer and I can't get to the access privileges. The two files are
linked.

If I create an empty database and try to import the data from the converted fp7 file, I get the message "To Do_Log.fp7" could not be opened. Either the host is not available or the file is not available on
that host.

               Any suggestions?

               Thanks in advance.

Charlie
