hi all, we recently did a massive overhaul of a mediatheque database,
and in the process split it into 3 separate related DBs. is there a
way to do the following kind of tasks automatically (globally)
without having to make the changes individually one by one in several
layouts and **numerous** scripts?
- replace fields in layout, e.g. change "moved_fieldname01" to
"WORKS:: fieldname01" (WORKS is the new DB)
- replace fieldnames in scripts, e.g. change all occurrences of
"moved_fieldname01" to "WORKS:: fieldname01"
best would be if we could change all instances of "moved_" in field
selections in the layout and in the scripts to "WORKS::" in one big
happy go.
