Thanks, but the tables are all the same in both DB's so that will not be a
problem.

You can't copy the layout wholesale but you can in three easy steps.

First, create a blank layout with the same part dimensions as the one from
which you want to copy.

Second, go to the layout you want to copy, Select All, and Copy.

Third, go to the new blank layout and Paste.

 

 

Corn omits a significant step here. If you want to be sure that the FIELDS
you're copying and pasting show up in the same place in the new file, you
must have already defined them in that file, using exactly the same names as
the file from which you're copying them.

 

The easiest way to do this, of course, is to use "Define Database > Fields",
copy them from the original file, and paste them into the target file.
