Greetings,

Is it just me? Or does anyone else notice this issue?

SITUATION: When double-clicking on blank lines or spaces in a text field, any punctuation or non-alphabetic/number characters at the head of the selected area are selected as well.

BACKGROUND: When selecting blank lines or spaces between words with punctuation or other-than-alphabetical/numeral, any punctuation at the head of the selected area are selected as well. If you delete the selected text you also lose the non-alphabetical/numeric characters.

VERIFY:

[1] In a text field, enter several lines of text with trailing punctuation.
[2] Separate the lines of text with blank lines.
[3] Double-click on a blank line between two lines of text that has punctuation at the end of the line ahead of the blank line.

Is any other-than-alphabetical/numeral character that is the last characters in the line ahead of the blank line you double-clicked highlighted?

Has anyone else noticed/complained about this 'feature' in FMP9?

Has this 'feature' been modified in FMP10?

Regards,

Chuck
