Note that Finds in a script are not exactly like finds on a layout, thus the need for the quotes. Help does not include this information. Believe me I have read those pages often! Ron

I encourage you to look up "Finding ranges of information" in the Online Help (available when FileMaker is Open), and you will find a lot of information about finding ranges. Next, take a look at the Text Operators, and you will find that "Concatenate" means to combine two pieces of information using the Ampersand (&).
