SSD question

I recently put an SSD in my laptop and am enjoying the speediness,  
especially of random reads. I'm wondering how SSDs work while hosting  
Filemaker databases. It seems like they'd be wonderful -- can anyone  
tell  me if this has been done, and what the results were like?
