It appears that the Filemaker database I have been working on is a dead issue, as they bought a Windows PC to get a compatible version of Quickbooks, and somebody converted the DB to Access.
The problem now is that you can get a Windows PC for about 1/2 the price of a Mac, and that's a lot for non-profits. In any case that was my only Filemaker app, and I have a lot of Access work on my plate. This has been a remarkably informative, and particularly civil discussion group. Thank you for all the help you have provided me in the past. Now, how do I unsubscribe? Is unsubscribe in the subject (without the "?") enough? Many thanks. Ron Carr
