In that case, you should be able to combine both Melissa's and Paul's
methods to get the job done - use Replace Field Contents with
calculation, where calculation is Paul's custom function.

Assuming you have two fields to change in the selected records:
Do a find for only the records to be changed.
Type the corrected text in the field (the one you want to change) .
Leave your cursor in the field to be changed.
Then do a “Replace Field Contents” .
Go to the second field to be changed.
Type the corrected text.
Leave your cursor in that field.
Then do a “Replace Field Contents” again .
