What you really want to do is examine you're traffic profile - those applications and protocols that need to cross the firewall - and decide which offering best suits your needs. Of the two mentioned, only CP comes near ISA's ability to inspect the traffic and only ISA can handle RPC traffic without having to push the openaport button.
