There has always been some confusion from my side with issues relating to Sun Java on the desktop. We all probably have seen the security fixes for Sun Java but I have one question that has never been fully addressed. If I apply the latest Sun Java 2 Runtime and I have older versions installed as well can someone execute a vulnerability that exists in the older runtime?
