Hi everyone,

My name is James and I’m organising the co-op roster this semester. I’ve been
working at the co-op since the start of this year, (since I finally found the
new store!) and I love the cool ethical, healthy (and very funky) food and I
reckon the co-op rocks, as do the co-op people. 

As Shannon was doing last semester, I’m going to send out a weekly email on
Sunday or so that has the coming week’s roster. This is so that everyone knows
who’s rostered on when, and also so that everyone can see where there may be
gaps in the roster that could hopefully then get filled as much as possible.
I’ll also send out the latest roster for the following week at the same time,
just so everyone’s aware of how full/empty it is at that stage.

I’d also like to point out that there are training sessions that are conducted
at 12pm and 3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday (or possibly other times on special
request). For any new folk or people that haven’t worked in the store before,
these are simply 1-hour long inductions where Monika or Shannon will train you
up in the basics of the co-op so that you can work in the store and earn that
wonderful discount of up to 40%! For any co-op members who haven’t worked in the
store before, I would definitely recommend doing this because it’s very fun,
rewarding, you meet great people and you learn a lot too. It’s where I started
at the beginning of the year, and it’s very cool working as part of the co-op 
team.

To organise to do a training session, contact Monika ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or
Shannon ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and they will work out a suitable time with you.

One more important thing regarding the roster is that generally we try not to
have more than 2 people rostered on to work at a time, as most people would be
aware. The only exception to this is Thursday mornings 11am-12pm when the vege
boxes are being sorted out, and it’s great to have a third person on at this 
time.

So without further ado, below is the roster for Week 2 and Week 3. Please notice
that there’s a particularly big gap on Wednesday for this week. Hopefully some
really awesome people could put their names down to help fill that gap?
