It has been a week since this was raised by Peter. I don't think we're
going to get any more votes (Sigh, we need new committers).

Joerg Pietschmann has expressed his readyness to accept the job.

We have no -1s. So based on the XML charter (2/3 of the active
committers have to vote +1) the vote has passed and can proceed into the
PMC. Shall I bring it in for you, Peter, or would you write a mail to
the PMC calling for the in-PMC vote?

BTW, the approved charter says that the nominal membership duration in
the PMC is 12 months, not 6: http://xml.apache.org/mission.html
