Personaly never seen the point in opening the view source in anything but the provided one. Whats the point in editing the html for a web site that you don't have access to and if you do have access why do you need to edit by viewing the source? Only thing I can see you trying to do is copy someone elses work in which case you need to save the page anyway so you get any images the have used as well.
