pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- h3rnand3z: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used to use textpad. It would nice to have a PSPad hotkey in the System Context menu. Right click on a file and press "P" for example to open PsPad. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't modify Windows Explorer behaviour. If you press 'P' in context menu, you stay on PSPad item and Enter start it. Windows explorer assigns acceleration chars automatically -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Addition notes: 1) To see "PSPad" in context menu... ... check "Settings > Program Settings... > System Integration > [x]Context menu" 2) You need to press ENTER only... ... if you have more then one context menu entry starting with 'P' char. So you may want to uncheck "[ ]Hex" and "[ ]Diff" to have 'PSPad' only in context menu. So you have to press 'P' only to start PSPad. 3) If you want to add your own 'acceleration key'... just modify the '(Standard)'-entry in the registry for the "shell\PSPad"-key. Add there f.ex. "PSP&ad" to start PSPad by pressing the 'a'-key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\PSPad > (Standard) ... Reg_SZ ... PSP&ad Just my 'Senf' :-D -- greets, Stefan (pleased user since 1722) inofficial FAQs + Infos + Special Settings <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,47204,47249> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
