I have a question regarding the types of CPs offered by PADad. I noticed that there does not seem to be support for “ISO-8859-1”. Is that correct? There are an “ANSI (Windows)” and “OEM (DOS)” listed. I have no idea what the “OEM (DOS)” one is, and I am unsure of exactly what CP the “ANSI (Windows)” is suppose to represent. I was thinking perhaps “Windows-1252” aka “CP-1252”; however, I cannot find a definitive answer.
What I am looking for is a way to save text in pure ASCII format. Would that be what the “OEM (DOS)” option is? If so, it should really be labeled better. Using the actual CP name would make things easier. -- Jerry (viz http://seibercom.net/Images/beer-mugs-icon.gif ) -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,49080,49080> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
