experienced the same issue while trying to install extension CIndent.js i'm using win XP sp3
i did the trick recommanded by lolo erie (installing Windows Scripting 5.6 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-86EB -95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en) and it solved the thing. i just hope installing that new software from microsoft hasn't broken anything now... :-| :-| :-| nb: you have to rebooot. no reboot = it doesn't work :( but the sad thing is...
