I could not verify this reported behavior. However, I think I understand
it: when a component is copied, it is placed into the list in alphabetical
order. If this causes the new part (which I think is selected by default)
to be off-screen, it does not appear. Switching to another component and
back would force looking through the list and in that case it will be found.
Typically a copied part, if it is being copied into the source library,
will be placed just below the original; I think it is common that the
original will be at the bottom of the pane; the new part will be just
off-screen below the original.
