Abd ul-Rahman,
are you calling something a bug? I am getting used to intentionally
not calling things bugs because it seems to get your ire up needlessly. Now
you are doing it, oh happy day! 8^>
Thanks for pointing out the Update List button as a solution,
another one of those features that I had never accidentally stumbled upon on
my own. It would work reasonably well in my case because I commonly have a
Filter applied to reduce the list of components to certain target parts.
Less Clicks then opening another part and pretending to edit it.
I also don't know what function the other "All in Hierarchy",
"Partial Info" and "Open All" do or when they might be used. Time to
experiment a little now that you have brought them to my attention.
A thought just came to me, nope didn't work. My idea was :
What if the list updates when the next component is opened for
editing, rather then when the previous edit operation is closed? That would
have explained to me why the list didn't update 'after' editing a particular
component. It does update when closing the second component edit, rather
then when opening the edit component dialog, drats! Maybe a programmer would
understand the intricacies but it doesn't make much sense to me as a lowly
user.
