I don't know if this will help but I will give you this information.
Some time ago I was using a cannon bubble-jet and I installed Adobe
Acrobat Writer. At sometime I had told the Cannon to print in B/W and
after that I could not get the print driver back to color. As I
remember the only I was able to fix was to uninstall the Acrobat
printer. Since then I have changed to a HP Design Jet and I have not
seen this problem reoccur.
