I second Josh, I had RTKLIB running on Olinuxino iMX233.. rubbish
floating point but still could do 2Hz off a uBlox NEO6P :)

Hi Weber,
There's nothing specific to the A9 that would make compiling RTKLib a
problem. Whether you encounter trouble will most likely depend on
what linux distribution you end up running.
We compile the linux kernel ourselves so we can build our own debian
image, where apt-get makes life pretty easy when it comes to compiling
RTKLib or other such libraries. Depending on the community support
for your hardware and what pre-built images are available, debian may
or may not be an option for you. I always recommend others to use
debian because it makes package management and compatibility so easy.
I don't think RTKLib has many dependencies though, so regardless of
what you're running you should have an easy time of it.
Best of luck,

Josh,
I'm back on this project.
A question: Did you have problems to compile RTKLib to A9 processor?
In the following weeks I will to compile it, I'm just waiting my
dev board to arrive

Hi,
Josh thanks for sharing your experience. Sure it is helping me
a lot to choose the processing platform. Right now I`m
inclined to choose a quad-core 1.2 Ghz A9 to start testing.
Danny, to use raspberry or beaglebone is dependant on your
needs. In my case I cant wait RTKLib to compute and then shoot
the picture. Airplanes can`t hover :)

What about Raspberry Pi and Beaglebone Black?

While I can't speak very scientifically, I can report on
our experiences running rtklib on gumstix embedded linux
computers. Previous we used a Gumstix Overo with an ARM
cortex-A8 (single core) at 800MHz I believe. We couldn't
reliably do more than 1Hz RTK alongside the other
processes we were running. If I recall correctly,
rtknavi was using ~15% cpu at 1Hz.
Now with a Duovero (dual core, arm cortex-A9 at 1GHz) we
have no problem running RTK at 5Hz. Cpu usage is still
around 15%.
Hope that's of some help to you.

Hi all,
Question: How much processing power to get real time
RTK corrections from RTKLib?
I'm thinking of using uBlox LEA-6T-0 (5 Hz RAW
update) on both basestation and rover (a UAV), with
RTKNAVI or an adaptation running on the rover so I
need to choose a onboard computer capable.
Thanks,
Weber
