I am still looking fwd to try "Xubuntu and Kubuntu" really!!! Till then i am happy with my fedora, debin n BSD in console or with KDE as an accessaries ;) The point is.... (generally speaking) It isnt about running after personal taste. Its about giving users whats friendly, whats simple, things that work straight forward. Help them take the initial step to *nix. A small step...... few small steps and accept the fact its these steps that are in the tranjection phase from windows world to linux world. So, remember tooo much of unfamilirity will discourage them so i suggested of things like having VLC with winamp skin, having NTFS support etc Let them have the impression it isnt any different than windows. BUT your biggest will be when people start thinking... its like windows but better than windows.... n there they go..... to the linux world.
