I tried to upgrade my ultimate edition to 2.0 from the iso image for
which i did these;
1) Mounted the iso image to some folder (say /media/Blend/ultimate-repo)
2) sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
then i added a line deb file:///media/Blend/ultimate-repo
Unfortunately when i tried to update, i got this
kail...@kailash-desktop:/media/Blend$ sudo apt-get update
E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist)
what is wrong with the line that i added?
Need help!!! pls
