Agreed, choosing a good name is important. I like the name --no-warnings, but another name would be OK for me as well. Whatever name, I will use it in stead of the more 'dangerous' -f or --force. > (in ClearCase you > have -force, in SVN you have --force, in Perforce you have -f, in MKS > you have --batch, in TFS you have -noprompt, ...). Therefore, it would nice that -f or --force works as well: subversion or Perforce users don't need to learn anything, if they accept that -f/--force means more than just disable the warnings.
