Hi Gibran, In looking at your output, the files contents are identical BUT, the timestamp appended to each of the lines is different for each file. I believe this may be the cause of the failure. I don't know why the timestamp is included in the comparison. I will file a bug.
In order to get around this error, I'd like you to use the rsync command to synchronize the timestamps on the agent systems to match the on on your server. from the server as root: rsync -a ssh /etc/fossology/Hosts.conf r...@clear6:/etc/fossology/Hosts.conf<mailto:r...@clear6:/etc/fossology/Hosts.conf> rsync -a ssh /etc/fossology/Hosts.conf r...@clear4:/etc/fossology/Hosts.conf<mailto:r...@clear4:/etc/fossology/Hosts.conf> After syncing the files, see if the selftest passes.
