Hi Bob
My team and I have been using the online Fossology repository and I have to say
that this is indeed an amazing tool. Kudos to you and your team for this
project.
I have a question with respect to the file types that one can upload to the
repository. For some reason file type .exe .msi and .bin do not yield any
results. I was wondering
If this was common or perhaps the agents do not recognize these file types for
analysis. If you notice on the below screen shot the .exe links are not
available. Am I missing something?

Thanks Manny

Hi Manny,
You aren't doing anything wrong. These windows file types are a problem for us
because extractors that handle them, like 7-zip, only extract these types on
windows. If someone could tell us how to extract them on linux, we would put
it in. Another option is to extract them on windows, tar or zip them up, then
put that new archive into fossology.
