I remember we have it, but I've never really seen instructions in how to
log in or anything.  It should be part of the welcome packet when someone
joins the foundation.

In general, I've been using IRC for my communication.  I tend not to use IM
mostly because I always feel I'm bugging someone when I'm doing it.  IRC is
non-intrusive and people can answer if they have time or inclination.

So with that in mind, what do people envision jabber to be used for here?
Just point to point communication and what's wrong with IRC especially now
that Andrea has added freenode like services to irc.gnome.org (great work,
andrea!)  Some of you might want to register your nick. :-)
